Sparta, PA – Hit-and-Run Crash Injures Four Seriously InjuredLaw Pa
Sparta, PA (July 6, 2020) – A hit-and-run crash involving an SUV and a horse and buggy led to serious injuries in an unidentified area of Sparta.
Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that the collision took place around 7:30 p.m. last night, July 5. An SUV struck a horse and buggy from behind and then fled the scene of the accident.
There were four people in the buggy who sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. They were identified as a 24-year-old man, a 23-year-old woman, a 1-year-old boy, and a newborn. They were all hospitalized with serious injuries.
The SUV was later located by police but police did not confirm what charges the individual is facing.
Police continue their investigation into the collision.
