Shamokin Dam, PA – Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Eleventh Ave Intersection

Shamokin Dam, PA (November 6, 2020) – Around 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon, November 6, a fatal motorcycle accident occurred in Shamokin Dam.

According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Susquehanna Trail and Eleventh Avenue. Police confirmed that 33-year-old Aimee Auman was traveling south on Susquehanna on her motorcycle. Suddenly, 84-year-old Marlene Fama turned left into the path of the motorcycle.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision. Auman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident due to traumatic injuries.

Fama was taken to a local hospital so that she could be treated for a variety of injuries.

Northbound and southbound traffic was limited in the area for approximately four hours until police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the collision continues.
