Shaler, PA – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision at PA-8 & Pennview St
Shaler, PA (May 11, 2022) – One person received injuries as a result of a two-vehicle collision that took place at an intersection in Shaler Township on Monday afternoon, May 9.
According to Shaler Township Police, the accident happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of PA-8 and Pennview Street in front of the local McDonald’s restaurant. Police have not commented on the exact circumstances of the collision but they have said that two vehicles collided with each other in the area.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One driver, who has not yet been identified, was injured in the accident. The party was rushed to the hospital for treatment. The other driver and a passenger in the first vehicle were not injured but cooperated with the investigation.
A portion of the roadway was blocked in front of the McDonald’s for a short period of time as police worked on clearing the scene.
