Saylorsburg, PA – Individual Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Accident on PA-715

Saylorsburg, PA (May 13, 2023) – One person was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident that took place in Saylorsburg on the afternoon of Saturday, May 13.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on PA-715 around the area of Cottontail Lane. Police confirmed that a motorcyclist was traveling in the area when their vehicle was struck by at least one passenger vehicle due to reasons that are not yet known. The motorcycle was badly damaged as a result of the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been formally identified, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. Nobody else was hurt as a result of the collision.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident until police cleared the scene. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.
