More investigation will determine who is at fault and liable.
Truck accidents are extremely dangerous and almost always leaves the driver in the smaller vehicle suffering injuries that could potentially be life-threatening. Such injuries include head injuries, neck injuries, spinal cord injuries, fractured bones, and internal injuries. Because the driver in the smaller vehicle received injuries from this collision, a personal injury lawsuit can be filed with the help of a personal injury lawyer.
The most common cause for truck accidents is negligent driving. Truck companies have strict guidelines that they require all truck drivers to follow, such as following their allotted hours of service, logging all activity, and no texting. Truck companies deem any distraction from the road intolerable; therefore, anything distracting the truck driver is illegal. If investigators discover that the collision occurred from the negligent behavior of the truck driver, then the injured victim will have better chances of receiving a winning verdict.
