Quarryville, PA – Three Killed in Truck Accident Involving Buggy

Quarryville, PA (December 14, 2020) – Around 8 a.m. on Monday morning, December 14, multiple people were killed in a Quarryville accident.

According to state troopers, the accident took place at an unidentified intersection in Lancaster County. Seven young people were riding in a horse and buggy when they entered the unknown intersection. A dump truck was pulling through at the same time, which caused the vehicles to collide.

Three of the passengers in the buggy were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident due to severe trauma. Four others were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The driver of the dump truck was not injured and remained at the scene to cooperate with the police.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
