Pottsville, PA – Two-Vehicle Accident with Injuries on Highridge Park RdLawPaWriter
Pottsville, PA (November 4, 2020) – Around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, November 3, a two-vehicle accident with injuries occurred in Pottsville.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the accident took place when two vehicles collided on Highrige Park Road around the intersection of Keystone Boulevard. Police confirmed that 51-year-old Jill Ostrousky was traveling west on Highridge while 27-year-old Jacob Houtz was headed eastbound.
While Ostrousky made a left turn at the intersection, her vehicle collided with the vehicle being driven by Houtz. Ostrousky’s vehicle immediately flipped over following the accident.
Ostrousky was the only person injured as a result of the accident. She was transported to a local hospital by Minersville Ambulance.
Both vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident and were towed away from the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
