Rider Injured in Franklin Township Motorcycle Crash While Fleeing Police
Franklin Township, Pennsylvania (August 15, 2017) – Police in Carbon County are investigating an incident where a motorcyclist crashed into a van while fleeing from police.
The incident happened near Palmerton-Lehigh Township border.
The police reportedly tried to stop the motorcyclist near Beltzville Lake in Franklin Township when he took off, and a dramatic chase ensued. The motorcyclist crashed into a van near Palmerton-Lehigh township border and sustained serious injuries.
The injured motorcyclist was flown to the hospital.
