Pittsburgh, PA (September 10, 2020) – On Tuesday morning, September 8, two people were injured in a car crash at an intersection in Pittsburgh.
According to authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of Commonwealth Place and Liberty Avenue when the driver of a pickup truck lost control of their vehicle. The driver crashed into multiple traffic lights and signs. When it came to a rest, the pickup truck was left with severe damages and was unrecognizable.
At the time of the accident, the pickup truck came speeding off the Fort Pitt Bridge when the driver lost control.
The driver had to be pulled from the pickup truck. The passenger was able to get out of the pickup truck by themselves but they were also injured. Both victims were hospitalized. Their current conditions are not yet known.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues at this time.
