Pittsburgh, PA (November 8, 2019) – On Thursday afternoon, police responded to the scene of a pedestrian crash at the intersection of Butler and 51st Streets in Pittsburgh.
The pedestrian was identified only as a 71-year-old woman who was hospitalized in critical condition. The accident took place around 1:50 p.m. in the afternoon.
When paramedics and other emergency responders arrived at the scene of the collision, they found the woman unconscious on the street. She was rushed to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
The driver remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with the police. The accident is still under investigation at this time.
