Pittsburgh, PA (October 27, 2020) – Around 8:15 p.m. on Monday night, October 26, a serious pedestrian accident took place on a roadway in Pittsburgh.
According to Pittsburgh Police, the accident occurred at 2000 West Liberty Avenue when a 20-year-old woman was crossing the street in front of a local building. She was suddenly struck by a pickup truck driving through the area.
When paramedics and officials responded to the scene, they found the woman on the roadway and she was completely unresponsive. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition but her current condition is not yet known.
The driver stopped at the scene of the accident and has been cooperating with the police.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
