Pittsburgh, PA – School Van Rollover Accident on Mifflin Rd
Pittsburgh, PA (February 24, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a rollover accident involving a school van on Thursday morning, February 24, in Pittsburgh.
According to local officials, the accident happened on Mifflin Road in the early morning hours before school. A school van was traveling in the area when the driver of the vehicle lost control due to unknown reasons. This caused the vehicle to overturn, leading to extensive damages. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. There was a total of five students on the bus, as well as the driver, at the time of the collision. The five children were all taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for treatment of their injuries. They are all expected to fully recover.
