Pittsburgh, PA – Pedestrian Accident at Frankstown Ave and Homewood AveLaw Pa
Pittsburgh, PA (September 25, 2020) – On Thursday evening, September 24, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident took place at an intersection in Pittsburgh.
The accident, according to Pittsburgh Police, took place at the intersection of Frankstown Avenue and Homewood Avenue. Police confirmed that 23-year-old Rochell Brewton struck a male pedestrian in the area and fled the scene of the accident.
The pedestrian, who was identified as a 35-year-old male, was seriously injured as a result of the collision. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to the hospital with a concussion. They said that he was confused when he was transported but is in stable condition at this time.
Police were able to quickly catch and arrest Brewton for their role in the accident. Charges will soon follow.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
