Pittsburgh, PA – One Person Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Lodi Rd

Pittsburgh, PA (June 24, 2021) – Around 1 a.m. on Thursday morning, June 24, one individual was killed in a fatal crash in Pittsburgh.

According to Allegheny County Police, the accident happened at 300 Lodi Road near the area of the local Advance Auto Parts. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the collision were extensively damaged in the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One person, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries.

The roadway was blocked around the area of Morrow Drive and Darrell Drive until police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
