Pittsburgh, PA (November 5, 2020) – Around 5 p.m. on Wednesday evening, November 4, a hit-and-run pedestrian crash occurred in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh Police confirmed that the accident took place at 800 Lincoln Avenue when a male pedestrian was crossing the street and was struck by a passenger vehicle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the accident. Police have not confirmed if they caught up with the driver responsible for the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident to help the pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with critical injuries but their current condition is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
