Pittsburgh, PA (May 18, 2020) – Around midnight last night, police responded to the scene of a hit-and-run pedestrian crash involving a teenager in Pittsburgh.

The 14-year-old girl was allegedly crossing the road at 6400 Frankstown Ave. when she was struck by an SUV also pulling through the intersection. According to Pittsburgh Police, the SUV fled the scene of the collision.

The girl was found by police with lower back pain and was transported to the hospital for treatment. She is currently listed in stable condition.

The SUV has been identified as a white four-door but police have not yet located the driver.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
