Pittsburgh, PA – Child Struck in Pedestrian Crash on Bessemer AveLaw Pa
Pittsburgh, PA (July 12, 2020) – Around 5:15 p.m. last evening, July 11, a child was struck by a motor vehicle in Pittsburgh.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident took place when emergency responders were called to 500 Bessemer Ave. after reports of shots being fired. When they arrived, they found a juvenile on the road who had been struck by a vehicle.
The juvenile, who has not yet been identified by police, was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police allegedly took the individual into custody who was responsible for the accident but it is not known what charges they received.
An investigation into the accident continues at this time.
