Pittsburgh, PA (December 2, 2020) – On Tuesday evening during snowy conditions, December 1, a 10-vehicle accident took place in Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh authorities confirmed that the accident took place on Bigelow Boulevard near the area of Herron Avenue and 7th Avenue. The crash involved ten vehicles that were involved in a chain-reaction crash in front of Frank Curto Park.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and numerous parties were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for about an hour.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
