Philadelphia, PA – Two Women Injured in Car Accident on Penn Sq

Philadelphia, PA (December 31, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place on Penn Square in Philadelphia this weekend.

According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened in the morning hours. Police confirmed that a woman was driving in the area when she suddenly lost control of her vehicle, crashing into a pole and then slamming into the side of the Wanamaker building around midnight, December 31. The vehicle was badly damaged as a result of the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Two women inside the vehicle were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
