Philadelphia, PA (January 27, 2021) – Around 1 a.m. on Wednesday morning, January 27, a two-vehicle accident involving an officer happened in Philadelphia.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Stenton Avenue and Vernon Road. Two vehicles collided with each other at the intersection, one of which had front-end damage and the other that went off the side of the road.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The officer was injured and taken to Einstein Medical Center for treatment of their injuries but is expected to be okay.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
