Philadelphia, PA – Two Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 61st StLaw Pa
Philadelphia, PA (June 2, 2020) – According to police, two people were killed and eight people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Philadelphia.
The accident took place around 3 p.m. on June 1, at 3300 South 61st St. The accident occurred when a Chevy Tahoe flipped for undisclosed reasons, landing on top of a Hyundai.
Seven people were ejected from the Tahoe, with one adult male and one adult female losing their lives. The victims have not yet been identified.
Five children aged between the years of 8 and 14 were also ejected and hospitalized with injuries. One of those children suffered major injuries.
The drivers and two passengers in the Hyundai were also hospitalized but are expected to make full recoveries.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
