Philadelphia, PA – Two Cruisers Involved in Car Accident on Thompson RdPa Accident News
Philadelphia, PA (March 28, 2023) – Around 7:30 p.m. on the evening of Sunday, March 26, a car accident involving two police cruisers took place in Philadelphia that led to injuries.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Thompson Road and 58th Street. Police confirmed that two police cruisers were traveling in the area with their lights and sirens on. They suddenly crashed into one another, causing severe damage to both vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two police officers were injured in the accident. The victims were sent to Penn Presbyterian Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their current conditions are not yet known, but they are expected to recover.
