Philadelphia, PA (March 9, 2021) – On Tuesday, March 9, a tractor-trailer accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Philadelphia.

According to officials, the accident took place on Lincoln Drive around the area of Wissahickon Avenue. A passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer collided with each other in the area. Photographs taken at the scene showed the passenger vehicle wedged under the back of the truck.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police confirmed that the accident happened on a “no truck” stretch of the roadway.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
