Philadelphia, PA – Three Injured in Car Accident on Tulip St

Philadelphia, PA (August 14, 2023) – A speeding driver was involved in a car accident in Philadelphia that sent multiple people to the hospital on Monday morning, August 14.

According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened at 1 a.m. in Philadelphia’s Tacony section on Tulip Street near the area of Levick Street. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling at high speeds in the area when they suddenly slammed into three parked vehicles due to loss of control. The accident caused extensive damage to the involved vehicles.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Three people were injured as a result of the accident. One of them was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition, while the other injuries were less severe.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. This led to delays in the area.
