Philadelphia, PA – Three Children and Adult Hurt in Car Crash on Roosevelt Blvd

Philadelphia, PA (June 29, 2023) – On Tuesday evening, June 27, a car accident with serious injuries took place on a roadway in Philadelphia.

According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened after 6 p.m. on Roosevelt Boulevard near the intersection with Southampton Road. Police confirmed that several vehicles were traveling in the area when they became involved in a collision in the southbound lane due to reasons that are not entirely known.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Philadelphia responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One of the victims, identified as a 7-year-old girl, was ejected from a vehicle and was left with critical injuries. A 4-year-old was taken to the hospital as a precaution, and an 11-year-old sustained back pain and was hospitalized in stable condition as well. A 32-year-old man was also hospitalized but is expected to be okay.

Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked into the night. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
