Philadelphia, PA (October 19, 2023) – A crash took place in the Allegheny West neighborhood of Philadelphia that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. The accident occurred at around 10:45 a.m. on October 18.
Reports provided by the Philadelphia Police Department show that a black sedan and a black SUV collided at the intersection of North 23rd Street in West Somerset Street. The impact of the crash caused the SUV to go off the roadway and come to rest near a structure.
One person became trapped inside of their vehicle following the accident. The victim had to be extricated by firefighters.
Medical personnel responded to the scene to care for the injured parties. At least one person was transported to a local hospital.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
