Philadelphia, PA (September 16, 2023) – A pedestrian lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Philadelphia area. The incident was reported to the Pennsylvania State Police at around 3:00 a.m. on September 15.
According to reports provided by authorities, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the westbound side of Interstate 76 near Interstate 676.
The pedestrian was fatally injured due to the crash. Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced them deceased.
The police shut down the interstate between Spring Garden Street and Gerard Avenue for several hours as they worked to investigate. These investigations are currently ongoing.
