Philadelphia, PA – Pedestrian Accident at Cottman Ave and Sackett St

Philadelphia, PA (July 25, 2020) – Around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, July 23, a pedestrian accident with injuries occurred in Philadelphia.

According to local authorities, the accident took place at the intersection of Cottman Avenue and Sackett Street. A pedestrian was walking at the intersection when he was suddenly struck by a white and black Ford F-150 truck with racing stripes. The vehicle allegedly had Delaware tags.

The pedestrian was immediately transported to a local hospital with a broken leg and other related injuries. He has since been deemed in stable condition.

The driver of the Ford pickup truck was identified as a bald and clean-shaven black male who fled the scene of the accident. He had a blue security shirt on at the time. Philadelphia Police have been searching for the driver, who was last seen driving east and turning south at Rowland.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues at this time.
