Philadelphia, PA – Patricia Williams Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 16th StLawPaWriter
Philadelphia, PA (November 14, 2020) – Around 4:40 a.m. on Friday morning, November 13, a woman was killed in a pedestrian accident in Philadelphia.
Police confirmed that the accident took place at 16th Street and Belfield Avenue when 69-year-old Patricia Williams was struck by a hit-and-run driver. The driver immediately fled the scene of the collision.
A passerby called the police and said that he saw a yellow Infiniti Q45 that struck the pedestrian and then fled the scene.
Williams was immediately taken to Einstein Medical Center with a leg injury. They later found that she was suffering from bleeding in the brain and was tragically pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
