Philadelphia, PA – One Injured in Rollover Accident at S 40th St & Chestnut St
Philadelphia, PA (August 28, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a rollover crash that took place at an intersection in Philadelphia on Sunday night, August 28.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened around 8 p.m. at the intersection of South 40th Street and Chestnut Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide. One of the vehicles flipped over on the sidewalk at the intersection as a result, leading to extensive damages.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One person, who has not yet been formally identified, was rushed to the hospital for treatment. They are expected to make a full recovery.
The roadway was blocked in front of the local State Farm building, where the vehicle remained until police removed it from the area.
