Philadelphia, PA (May 16, 2020) – Around 10 a.m. this morning, an officer was injured in a motorcycle crash involving a hit-and-run driver in Philadelphia.
The accident, according to police, took place at 3400 School House Lane when a car struck an officer on his motorcycle. The vehicle quickly fled the scene without stopping.
The trooper, who has not yet been identified, was taken to Temple University Hospital with unknown injuries.
Police continue to search for the driver responsible for the accident at this time.
An investigation into the collision is currently ongoing.
