Philadelphia, PA (February 6, 2021) – Around 5 a.m. on Saturday morning, February 6, an officer was injured in a car crash in Philadelphia.

According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of South 19th Street and Wolf Street. At the time, an officer was in their cruiser and responding to a call. Their vehicle suddenly collided with another passenger vehicle.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The officer and the driver of the other vehicle were both hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

The intersection was blocked in the area for a short period of time.
