Philadelphia, PA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-95 Near Rhawn St Leads to Injuries

Philadelphia, PA (April 9, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that took place on a highway in Philadelphia on Saturday night, April 9.

According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened around 11:22 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Cottman Avenue and Rhawn Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, several lanes of traffic were blocked in the southbound lanes for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
