Philadelphia, PA – Motorcycle Accident at Cecil B. Moore Ave Intersection

Philadelphia, PA (September 8, 2020) – Around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday night, September 6, a motorcycle accident with serious injuries took place at an intersection in Philadelphia.

Though few details have been released regarding the circumstances leading up to the collision, it is believed that a motorcyclist and a passenger vehicle driver collided at the intersection of Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue in front of the campus for Temple University.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they found that an unidentified 39-year-old man was unconscious. He was transported to the hospital but the extent of his injuries is not yet known. On Sunday night, he was in critical condition.

The roadway was closed down in several lanes following the accident. Police worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
