Philadelphia, PA – Man Killed in Four-Vehicle Wreck on Essington Ave

Philadelphia, PA (September 24, 2023) – A fatal car crash was reported in the Philadelphia area on Friday evening, September 22.

At around 5:00 p.m., the Philadelphia Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a crash on Essington Avenue.

Reports from authorities show that a black Dodge Charger was involved in a crash in the 6800 block of the roadway. The vehicle’s driver lost control and struck three other vehicles.

A 31-year-old passenger involved in the crash was transported to Presbyterian Hospital for emergency care. The victim later died from his injuries.

At this time, the crash is being investigated.
