Philadelphia, PA – Leonid Kadomshy Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Roosevelt BlvdLawPaWriter
Philadelphia, PA (November 10, 2020) – Around 7 p.m. on Monday evening, November 9, a pedestrian crash led to the fatality of one victim in Philadelphia.
Investigators found that 37-year-old Leonid Kadomshy was pouring gasoline into his Nissan alongside the road when the driver of a black Acura struck him. The accident occurred at 7500 Roosevelt Boulevard.
The occupants inside the Acura immediately got out of the vehicle and fled the scene of the collision after it occurred.
Kadomshy was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries but was pronounced dead while there. A passenger in the Nissan complained of head pain but did not receive medical attention.
A passenger in the Acura later went to the police to turn herself in but the driver has not yet been caught.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash continues.
