Phiadelphia, PA (December 8, 2020) – On Friday, December 4, a man was seriously injured in a pedestrian crash in Philadelphia.
According to police, 32-year-old John Crescenzo was crossing the street near the intersection of Cottman Avenue and Burholme Park when he was struck by a white car. The vehicle struck him and then immediately fled the scene of the accident without stopping.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Crescenzo suffered from cracked ribs on his right side, a fractured pelvis, a broken right wrist, a concussion, two broken ankles, and a lacerated lung. He was conscious when taken to the hospital.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
