Truck accidents may not be as common as many other accidents on Pennsylvania roads. However, when they do occur, they tend to lead to some of the most catastrophic harm. This is due to the fact that trucks can weigh as much as 80,000 pounds, making them one of the most capable vehicles of causing extensive damage in an accident. In 2021, it was reported that there were 7,244 heavy truck accidents in the state of Pennsylvania. The truth is, most of these accidents can be prevented when drivers take precautions on our roads and pay attention to what is happening around them. If you have been hurt in a truck crash, it is crucial that you speak with an attorney immediately.
Because truck drivers spend a large amount of time on our roads, they are more likely to make road mistakes than many other drivers.
