Philadelphia, PA (April 11, 2021) – At 2 a.m. on Sunday morning, April 11, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident occurred on a roadway in Philadelphia.

According to police, the accident took place at 1900 Hunting Park Avenue when a 60-year-old man was crossing the street. The vehicle that struck him immediately fled the scene without stopping.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were present at the scene. The pedestrian was rushed to Temple Hospital for treatment of his injuries. He is expected to recover.

It is not known if the driver who struck the pedestrian has been found by police.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
