Philadelphia, PA – Fatal Pedestrian Crash at Broad St & Susquehanna Ave Intersection

Philadelphia, PA (November 2, 2022) – A pedestrian was tragically killed in a fatal accident that took place at an intersection in Philadelphia on Tuesday night, November 1.

According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened at an unknown time at the intersection of Broad Street and Susquehanna Avenue. Police confirmed that a pedestrian was walking in the area with his bicycle and crossing the street at the intersection. He was suddenly struck by a driver in a 2008 Honda Accord, who stopped and remained at the scene of the accident.

Several responders, including Philadelphia paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. The 61-year-old male pedestrian was traumatically injured in the accident. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to these injuries. Nobody else was hurt in the accident.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
