Philadelphia, PA – Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Stenton Ave and Haines St

Philadelphia, PA (September 13, 2020) – Around 7 p.m. last evening, September 12, a fatal motorcycle crash took place in Philadelphia.

According to authorities, the collision occurred at the intersection of Stenton Avenue and Haines Street. Though few details have been released, it was revealed that a woman was riding on a motorcycle when a black Land Rover turned into a parking lot at the intersection. The vehicle forcefully collided with the motorcycle.

The woman, identified as a 38-year-old woman, was thrown off the bike and onto the ground. Her motorcycle received severe damages as a result of the accident. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Police did not say if the driver of the Land Rover is facing any charges at this time.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for several hours until police were able to clear the scene.

No further details have been provided but the investigation is currently ongoing.
