Philadelphia, PA – Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Kelly Dr

Philadelphia, PA (August 4, 2020) – Around 8 p.m. on Saturday, one person was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident in Philadelphia.

Police confirmed that the accident took place at 1600 Kelly Drive near the area of Hunting Park Avenue. A passenger vehicle and motorcycle collided with each other for reasons that are not yet known.

The driver of the Yamaha motorcycle, identified as a 27-year-old male, was traveling east on Kelly Drive. At the same time, a 33-year-old female was driving a Hyundai Elantra traveling westbound on Kelly Drive. The vehicle and motorcycle suddenly collided with one another.

The male, whose name has not yet been released, was immediately rushed to the hospital with traumatic injuries. He was tragically pronounced deceased while there.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time.

The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
