Fatal Car Accidents in Philadelphia
Fatal car accidents are often devastating for families. Unfortunately, more than 1,000 people die as a result of collisions that occur in Pennsylvania each year. In most cases, these crashes are preventable. We see innocent people lose their lives as a result of drivers who are speeding, fail to yield, or run red lights at intersections.
When innocent people lose their lives as a result of collisions, families are often able to take legal action against those who are responsible. Filing a wrongful death claim can provide your family with financial compensation to alleviate some of the impacts that a fatal accident can have.
One of the most common damages that families recover in fatal collision cases is medical expenses. Families have the ability to recover money to cover the cost of medical care from the time of the accident leading up to the death of the victim. In addition, families are able to seek compensation to alleviate the impact of funeral expenses and burial fees. Other damages that families seek and wrongful death claims include loss of consortium, loss of services, and more.
