Philadelphia, PA – Eight-Vehicle Collision Leads to Injuries on Kensington Ave

Philadelphia, PA (February 26, 2023) – After noon on Sunday, February 26, a serious eight-vehicle collision with injuries took place in Philadelphia.

According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened at 3300 Kensington Avenue in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. Police confirmed that a total of eight vehicles became involved in a messy collision in the area due to reasons that are not yet known. The involved vehicles had to be towed away from the scene, and debris was left scattered all over the road in the area.

Several Philadelphia responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A total of four people sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were immediately hospitalized, though their exact conditions are not entirely known.

The roadway was blocked for several hours until police were able to fully clear the scene. Police urged those traveling through to use alternate routes.
