Philadelphia, PA (March 30, 2021) – Around 11:20 p.m. on Monday night, March 29, a bus accident occurred at an intersection in Philadelphia.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of City Avenue and Monument Road. A SEPTA bus was stopped at the intersection when a passenger vehicle ran into the back of the bus for reasons that are not yet known. The accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. The driver of the passenger vehicle, who has not yet been identified, was trapped in their vehicle. Fire crews were able to quickly free the victim, who was taken to the hospital with various injuries. Their condition is not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a short period of time.
