Philadelphia, PA – Baby Killed in Fatal Crash on Roosevelt Blvd IntersectionLawPaWriter
Philadelphia, PA (February 12, 2021) – Around 11 p.m. on Thursday night, February 11, a baby was killed in a fatal crash in Philadelphia.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Harbison Avenue. Two vehicles were headed in opposite directions near the intersection. One vehicle entered the other lane of traffic when it crashed head-on into the other vehicle.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash. The 29-year-old man driving one of the vehicles was hospitalized with injuries. The other driver, identified as a 21-year-old woman, was also injured. A 19-year-old passenger in the second vehicle was holding her 3-week-old child at the time, who was killed in the accident. Her four-year-old son had minor injuries as a result of the accident.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
