1 Killed in North Philadelphia Hit & Run Auto-Pedestrian Accident
North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (September 28, 2017) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Glenwood Avenue in Philadelphia on Saturday, according to Philadelphia Police.
The fatal crash occurred at around 1 a.m. September 23, in the southbound lanes of Glenwood Avenue at Broad Street.
Police say the pedestrian was crossing Glenwood Avenue when he was hit and thrown several feet away by the car which sped off after the collision.
The injured pedestrian was transported to Temple University Hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
Meanwhile, the police arrested the driver sedan which was later towed from the 2000 block of North 9th Street.

Police are still investigating the crash.
