Though ATV accidents are not incredibly common on our roads, they tend to lead to some of the most catastrophic harm when they do occur. This is due to the fact that those on ATVs have little protection from harm in the event of an accident, especially those involving much larger vehicles. In one year’s time, an average of 135,000 individuals are hurt in ATV accidents throughout the U.S. Out of these accidents, approximately 700 people lose their lives. Pennsylvania is no stranger to these accidents, where handfuls of lives are taken in ATV accidents each year.
