Overturned Car on I-76 in PhiladelphiaOne person was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident this morning that caused the car to flip over onto its roof. The crash occurred around 8:40 a.m. on the I-76 westbound in the Fairmont section of Philadelphia. The vehicle that overturned between Exits 339 and 338 on the Schuylkill Expressway resulted in one person being hospitalized with serious injuries.

Authorities stated that the roadway was able to be reopened by 10:00 a.m. and the exact extent of the victims’ injuries is unknown at this time. The seriousness of this kind of crash often causes life-changing, catastrophic injury or even death. As of right now, the victim is fortunate to be undergoing treatment in a hospital.

While it can be difficult to find liability in a one-car-crash, there is often someone else who can be held at least partially accountable for your accident. In the event that this is an impossibility, there are usually many other avenues to obtaining reasonable compensation if the injuries are serious enough, and have rendered you disabled.

At Edelstein, Martin & Nelson, we know that most people who survive a serious accident may be fortunate for that reason, but things such as disabling injury can leave a victim buried in debt and unable to work. The most important thing you can do after an accident is to contact a highly experienced injury attorney.
