New Tripoli, PA – Serious Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on PA-309LawPaWriter
New Tripoli, PA (February 1, 2021) – Around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, a two-vehicle crash with injuries took place in New Tripoli.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the accident happened at 8400 PA-309 near the intersection with Mosserville Road. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling north in the area when it struck a vehicle headed south. Both of the vehicles left the road and struck trees.
Police confirmed that one of the drivers involved in the accident, who has not yet been identified, was ejected from their vehicle. The driver suffered a broken leg and was hospitalized. Nobody else sustained injuries as a result of the accident.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
